Owen County Extension Office is now a registered Safe Place.
"What is a safe place?" you ask.
Safe Places are sites set up in public locations where youth in crisis situations can get help immediately. Just look for business with the Safe Place sign or you can text the word SAFE, along with your current location (address/city/state), to the number 69866 and you will get a response with the address of the nearest Safe Place and a phone number to call for help.
