Horse Club
Owen County 4-H Horse Club is a group of youth who meet because the LOVE horses! Come learn about the different breeds of horses and styles of riding! Remember, you don't have to own a horse to be apart of the horse club! Interested in joining? Check out the latest edition of Clover News to see when they meet again!

The goal of the Owen County Shooting Sports Club is to teach the youth of Owen County how to handle and use firearms safely. Educating youth on the proper use of firearms is the main purpose of this club, however there are opportunities for youth to compete and further develop their skills. Teaching leadership and responsibility in an informal environment helps the youth to develop necessary skills needed for everyday living. Interested in joining? Livestock Club
Owen County Youth have the opportunity to participate in the 4-H Livestock Club. Through educational training hours the youth learn the value of properly caring for their animals as well as showmanship skills. Our youth participate in shows all across the state of Kentucky and do well on a consistent basis. The Livestock club is a strong asset to the community building on the hope for the future of raising livestock and farming.
Owen Count Elementary School Clubs
Youth ages 4th grade and 5th grade are eligible to participate in School Clubs. Here the local County Agent comes to the school, and the youth learn how to run a business meeting along with educational activities to compliment their classroom learning.
Maurice Bowling Middle School Leadership
The Youth Leadership Program's mission is to prepare diverse individuals for leadership through education, workshops, and opportunities to lead. Leadership is an important asset for community strength. The young people of this area should be taught leadership and actively engage in leadership activities as a valuable resource in furthering not only their education but their community.
Owen County High School 4-H Club
The Owen County High School 4-H Club is geared around service learning. High School students have the opportunity to give back to their community as well as volunteer as leaders for different 4-H projects in hopes of passing on their passion and knowledge for a specific skill.
